Karoly Nikolich is a Consulting Professor at Stanford University and a former executive director of their Neuroscience Institute. He has worked in the biotechnology industry for over 25 years. Dr. Nikolich was the founder, CEO and Chief Science Officer of AGY Therapeutics Inc. and CEO of Amnestix Inc. He also served as vice president of research at Lynx Therapeutics, Inc.
From 1983 to 1995, Dr. Nikolich worked at Genentech Inc., where he initiated and directed neuroscience research. He is a graduate of Eotvos University in Budapest, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Tulane University as well as a visiting scholarship at the University of California, San Francisco.
